The James and Paula Coburn Foundation is a proud supporter of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and its imperative place in the ethos of music and performance art. The LA Phil is recognized as one of the world’s outstanding orchestras and is leading the way in ground-breaking programming, both on stage and in the community, offering a diverse range of programs. JPCF’s support of the LA Phil’s work speaks to the Coburn’s passion for the energy and talent that drives artistic expression.

The James and Paula Coburn Foundation supports the efforts of the LA Phil as well as Gustavo Dudamel’s youth orchestra program YOLA, through which the LA Phil and its community partners provide free instruments, intensive music training, and academic support to over 600 students from underserved neighborhoods, empowering them to become vital citizens, leaders, and agents of change.
